| It was known that peptides which could induce
immune response were different on the patient's genotype. Recently,
it has been shown by the results obtained from exploratory clinical
research carried out by Kurume Univ. School of Medicine that even
though the HLA phenotype of patient is the same, peptides which
can induce immune response to the patient are different to each
other. Therefore, before starting the treatment, high response
peptides are selected for each patient from the peptide vaccine
candidates by diagnosing specific immune response to them. Personalized
peptide vaccine is optimized to each patient and such treatment
can be performed in an outpatient clinic keeping usual daily living. |
