modalities), and we aim to construct a network of patents covering

treatment are two parts of one whole. Our peptides are indispensable
both for diagnosis and treatment.
We are filing patent applications mainly in Japan, North America,
and Europe for the candidate peptides found to induce a CTL response
in research conducted at the Department of Immunology, Kurume University
School of Medicine, during the past 10 years. |
In our method of personalized therapy, immune
diagnosis is utilized to select optimal peptides for personalized
peptide vaccination before administering the peptide vaccine.
Therefore, the development of diagnostic methods is one of our
company's most important business domains.
We have already filed a patent application for a diagnostic technology
that is in an advanced stage of development. |
Our method of treatment involves the administration
of personalized peptide vaccines in which the selected peptides are
chosen prior to the treatment on the basis of diagnostic tests. Therefore,
the invention relative to our treatment methods is also an important
focus of our company.
We have filed patents not only for peptides alone but also for
combination treatments involving other medicines, based on the
results of exploratory clinical research performed at the Kurume
University School of Medicine. |
