The results of clinical research at Kurume University involving over 400 patients have demonstrated the usefulness of personalized peptide vaccines (alone or in combination with other medicines) in the treatment of cancer.
It is expected that the use of an optimal "peptide set", selected from a relatively large peptide candidate pool, will show good clinical results. It is possible to treat different cancers using different "peptide sets" composed of peptides effective against several kinds of cancers.
